Why Pagweak?
We’re special.
The summer offers a grand array of things for kids to do, so why should you send your kids to camp. And why Camp Pagweak? The answers are numerous: We place two trained staff leaders in every cabin with 10 or less campers who will provide the kids with positive role models. All staff have criminal reference checks and the majority have first aid basic training.
There are skilled instructors and equipment for a variety of outdoor activities. Our Lifeguard is certified for both pool and waterfront so the kids can have a grand time on our beautiful beach. All cooks have their food handling certificates and they serve healthy food that kids love!
Now that you know they are safe, you will also be happy to know that they will be having tons of fun in a positive environment of encouragement and acceptance. They will create lasting memories and good friendships while participating in experiences like swimming, crafts, trail biking, bouldering, low challenge courses along with archery, kayaking, basketball and rock wall climbing.
As well as providing great outdoor fun in God’s creation, we have a terrific staff leading dynamic worship times that threaten to raise the roof at times! Special speakers are chosen based on their ability to interact and share with the youth here at Pagweak. They have experience with youth in their communities as well in past years here at camp. Our intimate setting and many activities give your kids opportunity to meet new peers, experience new adventures and activities and be challenged in their view of God and the world. All the staff look forward to meeting them this summer!
